Another Amazing Week in Peru

I am sooo blessed. I got to work alongside a group of amzaing Christians from the Bible College I was at the first three days in Peru. Unlike the New Jersey group, which i joined everyday
for a week, I was only been able to join this group in the deconstruction efforts three out of the six days. I have mostly been helping the pastor´s family with preparing food for the group of nine and helping take care of Maria Fe and Esteban, the pastor´s children.

Sunday, October 28
A nice morning. I went to finish tearing down the house the New Jersey team had started. Lunch was great as usual. Playing with the youth group yesterday was fun. Dangerous, but fun.

Here the youth are swerving one another to see who hits the chair...

Last night there was a party that went ´til five. this morning. It reminded me of the darkness and the lost. Silvia

Friday, November 2
What an amazing day today was. I washed my clothes, without to much of a problem, well, some water was spilled as I manual let the water out of the wash. After eating breakfast and hanging my clothes. I went to help the team demolish a home. It was nice to work with my hands, but I must admit my back was killing me as I was picking up boulders. The best part was after the team was done I stayed behind to finish playing a game of Jesus Says I had started while the plans for the next place to demolish were being made. After the game was over I got to speak to a group of youngsters and present the Gospel to them. Six people accepted the Lord! I talked to them for a bit and Aileen and I bougt them cookies and juice. As I was walking home I bumped into a woman who goes to church. She told me her husband was cheating on her. We prayed.

After lunch, I got to go to Ica again, this time with Jaime, Kristel, Pastor Bryan and Jimmy. There are two Bible studies that are done there. The first one turned out to be all children. I got to share the wordless book with them. How wonderful visuals and the word of God is. Six children accepted the Lord! The adults did not come until almost 5.30. Hopefully, the will come next week. The second Bible study was sooo awesome. It was in the home of one of the guys I met last week. It was sooo neat to see a blood family of believers together. Pastor Bryan taught the book of Colossians.. so good.

Six New Believers!

PRAYER REQUESTS
The six new believers, that the Lord would grow them into wonderful men and women of God.
The people in Ica, as I mentioned they have demonic influences.

The Peruvians, Leona whose pictures are in this entry, and I.

Hugs on the Steps, right next to my 2.5 floor room.

Saturday, November 3
It was neat to be able kids in las vinas today. There was a ton of kids. I got to play jump rope with the kids.

Sunday, November 4
Today was sooo awesome. I woke up and had a nice time with the Lord. I also got to play the guitar a little. I made oatmeal chocolate chip, and oatmeal raisin cookies. Silvia made another awesome lunch.

After lunch I met up with the youth from the church. Gustavo played the guitar. Krystel, Mirna, Carol, and I sang. During the playing Miguel Angel and the girls gave out tracts. After a bit of singing we all, without anyone having to say anything, went around the park giving out tracts and talking to people.

After the park I went to help at the church.
