Dad's Joy Remembered

Hello,
I hope you are well. As some of you may know, my father passed away on July 28, 2007. If you would like to come, there will be a memorial service this Saturday at 4 pm at Yuma Community Food Bank’s Conference Room, 2404 E. 24th St. I would love to see you there.

He was a wonderful dad. I miss him very much, but God has given me a peace that surpasses the sadness. It brings me joy to know that my dad is with God. He trusted Jesus as his savior and followed Him as His Lord.
How wonderful: all we need to do to be in the presence of God is accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. My dad said it best, “He who is saved, knows. He who is not saved knows nothing.” “That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved,” Rom 10:9, NIV.

Please, if you haven't already, accept the Lord. No one knows the day or the hour they will die. I love you, and more than anything would love to know you will be in heaven. God loves you so much more.

So thankful for God’s peace, joy, and love,
Luz

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16, NIV
