Going to Mexico City and Cuernavaca was an amazing experience, especially meeting wonderful people, above all Isabel, who I write about in my 1st post (Here are pics of Mex http://harvard.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2023783&l=bfcbd&id=16906
Having Li over was great; seeing the Grand Canyon with snow was awesome… My kids' spring break was great too, many highlights (below).
Friday
-Seeing one of my little girls face light up when I went to see her run in a track meet; her parents couldn’t make it.
-Watching Mike come into the church to "Eye of the Tiger" in a white suit for his wedding; so awesome to have a guy wear a white tux; even if he isn’t a virgin he is washed white as snow when he chooses to accept and follow Christ. He's in one of these pics: http://harvard.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2024732&l=efed6&id=16906
Saturday
Learning a practical definition of what honor is in a parenting class:
Treating someone as special.
Doing more than is expected.
Doing it with a good attitude.
Sunday
Having a sleepover with my mentors. Here are some pics of them, as well as the mentees on a field trip we took to San Diego: http://harvard.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2024731&l=3e826&id=16906
Playing taboo was hilarious:

Me: what you do when you see a round thing on the ground

Wednesday
Playing a mean game of dodge ball.
Thursday
Seeing the faces of kids excited to take pictures after a photography class I had given.
Friday
Sitting down and having a conversation with a boy in one of the neighborhoods I work in; he's the most disrespectful boy I've ever met, but Friday afternoon he softened up.
Saturday (so many)
-Getting rushed/hugged by the children I teach about Jesus to in Mexico.
-Having David, a man I met while serving food at a homeless shelter, tell me, “The Lord sent you,” after we talked about God’s grace.
-Watching two of my girls, who have had too many tears, laugh hysterically while we go round and round on rides at the fair.
Sunday… Wow that was quite a day. I’ll write about that another day. Taxes time.
