Getting Off to a Good Start...

This winter has started off well.

The holidays were bittersweet. The first ones without my dad, so that was hard, but it was that the rest of my family was able to get together and cook up a storm. As you can see with the pics. :)

Working at my old Elementary School teaching kids with special needs, such a blessing, at times challenging, but such a blessing.

Meeting and spending time with JD was fun and full of learning... :) Getting to spend time with old high school buds was such a blessing.

Winter camp was a blessing. The theme was Behold. Too often I don't behold, really gaze at something... It was a good reminder for me to appreciate all the blessings I have, and really take them in, behold them, from my hands to the Word of God to oranges. I had one of those amazing juice packet-filled fruits today: sooo good.

February has started well. This week I've been working with high school kids in the alternative school. Everything was really good, until today. One of the students wouldn't stop talking when I asked him to and started cussing at me. I asked him to leave the class. I got sad that he would act that way. I prayed for God to speak to his heart. Well, at lunch I went up to offer him a cookie I had made the students. We had a wonderful conversation. Indeed, God has made everyone wonderfully.

Thanksgiving :)
